Us As Breeders

We are Dan & Kate and we live in the wonderful Welsh countryside in Powys, Mid Wales. We are owned by 5 glorious Golden Retrievers, Fern, Hazel, Holly, Poppy & Primrose..

We welcomed Fern in 2019 and became completely hooked on the breed.

We have always had dogs but Goldies have certainly stolen our hearts!

We had our first litter in August 2021, which included our beautiful girl Hazel.

In 2023 our second litter arrived and Holly bounded onto the scene. We are very much looking forward to making future plans and bringing healthy, happy puppies into the world.

Our breeding dogs undergo vigorous health tests to ensure they are healthy and that their puppies will be free of any genetic diseases and abnormalities.

We feed a high quality diet including Cold Pressed Food and Raw. We also offer daily supplements to ensure the best of health.

A Forever Friend

Golden Retrievers are well known for their loving, biddable natures. They are very easy going dogs, equally happy cuddled up on the sofa binge watching a favourite series, or walking for miles with their family. Its all about balance :)

They'll follow you to the ends of the earth...especially if you've got a few bits of cheese in your pocket ;)

When you take your puppy home the contact doesn't end there!

We love our puppies and love to hear how they're getting on, during the settling in period and far beyond.

We are always on the other end of the phone to help with any aspect of new puppy life and we have a small private facebook group, just for our puppy parents to share all of their wonderful adventures and ask our group any questions.

On the anniversary of our first litters birthday, we managed to organise a get together where we all met up and went for a lovely walk. The dogs all got on so well and enjoyed their reunion. We hope to make this a yearly thing, but of course there is no obligation!

We've not owned a dog before, would a Golden Retriever be a good choice for us?

We think so! Golden Retrievers are a relatively easy breed to have around, especially show line, as they don't have a huge drive to work. They're very forgiving, so if you make a mistake in your training, they wont hold it against you!

What Health tests do golden retrievers need to have?

The Kennel Club specifies that Golden Retrievers need Hip and Elbow Scoring and a Clear eye test.

We also DNA test for a number of genetic diseases/ abnormalities.
