All our puppies are born and raised in our home. They begin their lives in a quiet environment with their mum, then gradually they are introduced to our other dogs, our children, visitors and the usual noises expected in a busy household. Our puppies are well used to the comings and goings of various people, animals and machines (think big scary vacuum cleaner and TV playing video games!)
At around 4 weeks our puppies start spending more and more time outside exploring the garden with their mum and friends during the day. The big, wide world holds lots of new and exciting sights and smells. At this time our puppies will meet our cats, chickens and ducks and our sheep along with certain safe visiting dogs. This is where our children's roles become vital- expert puppy retrievers!
Before our puppies leave us to begin their new lives in their new homes, they are taken to our vets for microchips and first vaccinations. This is a really important day for them as it will be their first time in the car, first time away from their mum and first time visiting a new place. We make sure this experience is a positive one.
Our mission is to raise happy, healthy, confident puppies who will be a joy to live with for many years to come.
The first step to having a puppy from us is to get in touch :)
From here we will send you our questionnaire and chat through any questions you have.
We will share photo and video updates of how mum is getting on throughout her pregnancy and notify you when puppies have arrived and keep you updated with all aspects.
We will invite you to come and visit us when the puppies are around 5 weeks of age. Before this we will ask for snippets of information from you which will help us match you and your homelife with the perfect puppy.
When you have a puppy from us you can be assured we will be available throughout their life for any help or advice, or just for a catch up! We love hearing about our pups wonderful adventures :)
**UPDATE**
Fern is an absolute superstar! Fern delivered her puppies earlier than expected and all is well! Those on her waiting list have now been informed and we have now closed her waiting list. Thank you to everyone who showed interest in this litter.
Fern has successfully been mated to 'Bowshella All Fired Up'.
This is a repeat mating of the litter which gave us our Holly, so we are extremely excited to see what this litter has to offer.
If all goes well, puppies should be arriving around the end of August and ready to start their journeys to new homes around the end of October.
Everybody on Ferns waiting list will be kept up to date regularly about how she is getting on and how the pregnancy is progressing.
Once puppies arrive new owners will be informed and kept up to date throughout their early days and weeks. Such an exciting time!!
Fern does have space on her waiting list for those who can offer a 5* home to one of her puppies. Drop us a message to get the ball rolling or for any more information.
Our Hazel is due in season towards the end of October, all being well.
Hazel had a wonderful litter for us in June 2023, out of which we kept Poppy and Primrose... (never again, never again will we keep two...repeat after me...!!)
We haven't decided yet who our sire for this litter will be but we have ideas.
If you're interested in going on Hazels waiting list for a puppy due around December/ January time, drop me a message and I can send you over our questionnaire to get the ball rolling.
